Medishield Cover for your little ones

How many of us, new parents are aware of the importance of insurance coverage for your little ones?
Not many I guess.
Like me, I thought nothing of it.

However, anything might happen. The basic is to have your babies covered under Medishield.

For babies born later this year, they will be automatically covered under the parent's Medishield. But for babies born before that, parents need to apply for it.

It's simple, just follow my link here, to download the form, fill in the particulars, sign & mail it back to CPF board. (the premium is S$30 per year- deductable from CPF)

Life is really unpredictable, so, let's say any babies were to develop any illness, say asthma later in life, the Medishield will cover any hospitalisation bill.

I did something silly!!!

My Baby is sick. He is down with flu & cough.
I intended to take him to see the doc yesterday, so tepat kul 6p.m, I dash out of the office to the bus stop.
Tengah jalan, I saw bus no 8, apelagi, I sprint... ( I didn't know I could run that fast).
I reach the bus stop just on time.. bus pun sampai.. (actually, bus tu stop sekejap pat traffic light, pasal red lightlah :)
I was one of the first few to board the bus... it was normal for ppl to push to get in the bus during this hour, maklumlah, org semua nak balik cepat. If you lambat, jawabnya u have to wait another 10 min for the next bus.
I was standing comfortably in the bus when I realised I did not bring back my handphone (normally I would hang it ard my neck). Panic... I press the bell and went down, taping my EZ-link card.
Back at the bus stop, I frantically search my bag, just to realise my handphone ada rupanya pat dalam. Although my handbag is small, tapi it's like 'Doreamon' boleh isi banyak barang and things actually can get lost inside.
By the time I nak naik the same bus, it was already full.
I felt so stupid man. Dahlah nak cepat... makin lambat pulak. No choice.. had to wait for the next bus.
Luckily, service no 90 (there's 2 bus actually going to TPY interchange) arrive in less than 5 min.
Tapi, this bus takde aircon, peluh peluh pat dalam.

A lesson to learn- always keep your things at the usual place, kalau tanak go thru what I went thru yesterday.

* It was actually a blessing in disguise, pasal I got to exercise by running (yes, actually really... really run)











Sat... watch soccer game pat Tanglin... boring.....

Sunday- go SWIMMING..... this Aez like...

This is the 2nd time he went swimming..

Tapi 1st time with his own float... He's so excited.. He actually paddle you know...

Monday- catch a movie- 300 (left Aez Matin with in-laws) they are more than happy to have him for company
dah lame seh tak tengok wayang. yg last sekali maybe 2 years ago.
Kesian eh- tengah preggy ppl say takleh tengok wayang- the sound effect might affect the baby.
Kita ikutkan ajelah- better safe than sorry.

Yesterday go J.B- buy groceries and baby stuff (susu-lah.... cereal-lah...sabun-lah.........)
Since dah ade baby, the priority really change- nak buy anything, must ensure we get for the baby first- the daily necessasity must be fulfilled before we can shop for our own things- that's the truth- for those yg lum ada baby, your time will come (so now apelagi? go shopping lah for your own things as much as you can)
It's not bad really, to shop for your baby- I find it's more thrill and satisfying dari shop for myself... (not saying that just to comfort myself o.k)

Tomorrow we're watching Nemo at Indoor Stadium..
Dunno how Aez will react. Dia ni ada sikit angin- just hope he dun shout in the musical (if not Mama have to leave and miss the show!!)



Hubby's back

Alhamdullilah, my hubby is back home safe & sound.
Sampai umah at 11p.m.
How I miss him.....
For the 3 days he's there, we spoke abt 7 times on the phone, twice on Friday, 4 times on Sat & once on Sunday.
During the times he's in K.L, I made myself busy.
Saturday- work till 2.30pm, went back home to kemas rumah, mop & all (I just fix window panel at my balcony-after almost 1 year staying there) so berabuk & pasir..
I dunwan my bayb love to inhale the dust and sleep in berabuk environment.
My mum sleep over at my house- temankanlah.... Friday nite my in law yg temankan..
How lucky I feel to have ppl caring abt me (actually it's for the sake Aez Matin- jgn perasanlah Mama...)
Sun-go swimming at Jurong East- in law sent us there (my mom, adik, Aez & me).
Had so much fun- from 11a.m to 3p.m.

I'm glad it's over (hubby's trip to K.L)

There's a lil secret of me & Aez (we sleep with hubby's baju)
Hahaha..pathetic kan, tak bau badan, baju pun bolehlah.

Besok, angah & family coming back.
Wish them a safe trip back home. Insyaallah.

It's late, got to catch up on time missed with my darling hubby...

Trip to K.L

Today, my darling hubby is going to a soccer trip to K.L with his club.
Thought I might not miss him (yelah... since I have Aez Matin for company), however, deep inside me, I am still the same girl 9 years ago- very dependant on my hubby. He is my friend, lover, enemy- can say my everythinglah.... Miss you darling. Take care and return safely.. Mama will be waiting for you on Sunday nite.

BTW, coincidentally, Angah is also going to K.L with Razak, the kidz and Razak's friend.

Left only Aez, me, myself & I......... :(

I dun believe in true friend- rakan sejati.
There will be no one who will truly be there for you when you need them most. Unlike your love ones- susah payah, pahit manis will harungi bersama. True, there will be time when you will have misunderstanding, tapi kan itu lumrah bercinta- without it, you will be stagnant. With it come more love, you will understand each other better and treasure each other more.

I remember the time when my hubby was in Sepang- we went there for a mini race- he on his red Yamaha R1. He was in 7 position (riders are from both Singapore and Malaysia) ribut jugak- when he fell on a high side and broke his collar bone- masa tu dia tengah terjun corner to tryto overtake one of the good rider from K.L- who also owns a motor shop. I think that was in 2001. Since then, it made me realise that you will not know how to treasure someone until a mishap happen.

To all- dun wait for a special day to express your love.
Setiap detik kurniaan Allah S.W.T bermakna..

Go on..... make everyday lovers day....



Aaahhhh... Besok my hubby going to K.L on soccer trip. Friday morning to Sunday nite (reach Singapore)

This has been a routine since.... dunno when..... dah lost track..

Before kahwin... selepas kahwin.... tengah pregnant... dah ada Bayb love...

Just have fun hubby... jgn lupa Aez Matin o.k.

Dulu Mama feel lonely when you leave for K.L, tapi now I have Bayb love to fill my time.. with his laughter & cries, I won't have the time to spare (even to go toilet) Hahaha.. like 'real'. My Bayb love ni ade takut sikit, when he dun see anyone around, he will jerit, and action cry, just to catch your attention....

Ujian Allah S.W.T

Betapa hebat ujian Allah S.W.T terhadap umatnya.
Just look at what happened in Indonesia. Lepas aje kejadian gempa di Sumatra, pesawat Garuda pula terbakar di Yogyakarta ketika mendarat.

Sometimes I wonder why all this is happening in Indonesia. Yang lebih mengharukan ialah kerana mereka yg ditimpa kecelakaan tergolong dari keluarga yang susah. Dahlah hidup dalam kesempitan, satu demi satu mala petaka menimpa mereka.
Takziah kepada mereka yg kehilangan org yg tersayang.

Maybe not all of us felt the tremor, but I consider myself lucky to experience it.
Yelah, kita pat Singapore ni, it is impossible for us to experience quakes ke volcano eruption ke.. tapi yang I dun understand why Singaporean is so KIASU... to save themself.
Sampaikan ada orang evacuate from high rise building, leaving their fellow worker who is less capable in the office...

Yesterday I was at Temasek Tower, out for appt ( I do sales call to offices), on the 13th floor. Dah bis appt, took the lift down with 2 guys. Suddenly at the lift landing, the lift jolted a bit, tapi pintu tak bukak. Shortly there was an announcent "Pls do not panic, we are experiencing a minor technical problem". We waited for a few seconds -tak bukak juga.
The LCD screen in the lift showed that we're going up again -this time at a faster speed 2,3,4,5,6,..........21 stop... luckily one of the guy acted fast enuf- he pressed 21 and the lift open. kalau tidak, I dunno what will happen when we reach the top floor (31st storey)- maybe it will go down at a much faster speed- takut aje cable dia terputus ke deck collide ke (f.y.i, this lift ade 2 deck travelling at different interval- tapi pintu keluar same). BTW, the building is in a mist of renovation/ upgrading.
Apelagi, all of us went down and waited for another lif....

I guess deep inside everyone of us, wujud juga perasaan 'fear of death'......



Macam dah terlambat, tapi takpelah.
Ape apepun must pen my thought.

1st March 2006, my darling niece Dian Maisarah turned 2years old.
Went over to Angah house (after busy shopping at Kiddy Palace).
I really dunno what to get for her. Ended up buying Princess Haversack, Little Pony waterbottle and purple pram. (actually bought the pram only later)
Angahlah, she told me Maisarah suke tolak things around, so I tot of buying the pram, in the afternoon she called, to say takpayah, as she saw it selling at mamak shop blk 306.
Jadi, I ended up buying only the haversack and bottle.

Sampai umah angah, I asked her mane the pram, she say belum beli.
So... Maisarah and me went to the kedai mamak to buy.
We walked halfway when Maisarah 'cebek'- I think dia penat jalan agaknya. Jadi, I carrylah dia (my bayb love pat umah angah, she look after jap).
Punyalah penat pinggang... macam nak patah pun ade. (mind you- she's 18kg u know)
Sampai kedai, I couldn't find the pram.
So, taknak waste time, I ask the aci kedai.
'Sis, where is the toy stroller?'
She gave me a blank andblur look.
I repeat myself 'The pram lah, u know to push baby for her (pointing at Maisarah) to play'. Sambil showing her the action of pushing.

'Oh... at the centre row... right at the back' was the answer.
At last... tau pun ape I was looking for.
Bila I walk towards the end... tak nampak pun stroller ke pram ke..
So I told to her sambil signalling takde.. I cannot find.
She's very helpful to come and show me the thing.

Tapi tau tak she show me ape?
PAM JAMBAN..!!!!
Dah tebiat agaknya. Tak tau cakaplah tak tau. Nak action tau.. takkanlah Maisarah nak main ngan pam jamban kan. Aci...Aci.....
I gave up and decided to walk off... when I saw the stroller.. pat luar kedai rupanya.

I paid for it and walk back ngan Maisarah (dokonglah).

Sampai umah angah, my Aez dah sleep.
Couzin angah disturb himlah .. sampai cry.
Dunno what she did.. joget 'dung dung ceh'. (Lion dance lah)....
It might be terrible agaknya until my bayb love tak tahan..

Couzin ana... pls polish your dung dung ceh dance o.k... before showing off to my bayb love.
Hahaha....



At last, I managed to convince myself to let my Bayb Love sleep on his own in his playpen.
Yelah, from birth, we have been sharing the same bed- hubby, Aez and me. Tapi sekarang, Aez tidur lasak.
Normally, he will kick (secara tak sengaja) ayah and mama. Once I found his leg on top of my stomach, his head tucked neatly bawak ketiak ayah.
Just 2 days ago, my hubby mentioned Aez was sleeping so close to him that hubby have to shift him slightly.
Takutlah... yelah, bila kita nyenyak tidurkan, kita tak sedar peggerakan anggota badan kita. Just to avoid any mishap, I terpaka keraskan hati and put him to sleep on his own.

Guess what...when I woke up at 4a.m, I found him on his stomach- wide awake.
Bila dengar aje suara mama, terus cry... yelah... he might be wondering mana mama and ayah.
How come Aez alone.
Fed him and put him back to sleep.

Although I miss sleeping beside my baby, I know it's for his safety.

I am just about the most normal person you can ever find. Whatmore can I asked for when I'm blessed with a wonderful husband and a cute baby boy whom we named,Mohd Raez Matin
